What to do in your holiday here...

The mountainous landscapes of the Marche are very diverse. However, the area is hardly developed for tourism. Therefore, the sport and recreation possibilities around Camerino are mainly based on experiencing the landscapes and nature itself.

Completely relaxed:

Those who don’t feel like just hanging out in the Locanda and would like a break from art and culture, can go for a walk, without getting in the car first. Let yourself be surprised by yet another breathtaking view at each fork in the road, on top of each hill and behind each group of trees.

In nearby villages it’s possible to discover areas of almost untouched nature on horseback.

Camerino lies at the foot of the Sibillini Mountains:

A national park in which hours of hiking and excursions are possible. We would be happy to advise you on villages and routes.

Swimming pleasure

.…in approx. 20 minutes by car you will find the reservoirs “Lago di Fiastra” and “Lago di Caccamo” – not to be compared with beach life on the Adriatic coast. Small, free and clean beaches among the mighty Sibillini Mountains.

Enduro- and Cross-Country:

Those who dare to explore the wilderness by way of remote paths, can’t always be sure where the path will end, whether access is even permitted, or whether the fuel will last...

We will accompany you on forest and mountain paths that are especially used by the local motorcyclists, by people for whom motorcycles are as important as the nature that they ride in.

Adrenaline rush:

Those who are daring and would like to see the stunning landscapes from above can plan a day trip to the famous paragliding hills “Monte Gemmo” and “Monte Cucco”. Or try gliding over the hills in a hot air balloon...

Castles, monasteries and abbeys, frescos, sculptures and paintings, cities rich in art, historical buildings and .....

... there is a lot to see and do on your holiday here.

Many people still believe that the Marche region is just a part of the Adriatic coast. Many people don’t know that there are wonderful landscapes waiting for them, in which incomparable treasures can be discovered

Of course it’s not possible to show you on these few pages.

Therefore, consider this a sneak preview, just to get you in the mood. We can give you advice on where to find what you’re looking for and how to get there. Everything else you’ll just have to discover yourself...
